Graduated Archaeology and Geography at the University of Zadar in 2007 and began his career as a conservator-restorer of underwater archaeological material at the Croatian Conservation Institute. Since 2005 involved in many underwater archaeological field works, until today he is licensed SSI Diving control specialist and was leader of number of underwater archaeological researches in Croatia. PhD since 2019 at the University of Zadar
with the subject entitled ” African import recovered from the Croatian seabed dating from the 1st to the 5th century “. Since 2011 employed at the International Centre for Underwater Archaeology in Zadar – UNESCO category 2 centre (ICUA Zadar) as Head of the Department of Documentation and Education, where he was responsible for conducting underwater archaeology courses based on ICUA / UNESCO and Nautical Archaeology Society (NAS) programme. Worked as a member of different projects dealing with research and protection of underwater cultural heritage and development of different methods of underwater documentation. During career participated in various international conferences and symposia organized by UNESCO, DEGUWA, IKUWA, SOMA, ISBSA etc. Author of numerous professional and scientific articles on subjects dealing with research and protection of underwater cultural heritage. Currently is working as the Director of ICUA Zadar
since January 2019). Member of Croatian delegation in the several Meetings of State parties to the UNESCO 2001 Convention. Member of Coordinating Committee for the protection of underwater cultural heritage on the Skerki Banks as representative of the Republic of Croatia.
