
Ceyda Öztosun
Ceyda Öztosun completed two doctoral programs: one at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in 2023, and the other at the Faculty of Communication at Akdeniz University in 2025. Her areas of expertise include underwater archaeology, underwater cultural heritage, and raising public awareness in this field. She is also the head of the Kemer-Idyros Ancient City excavation project with the Antalya Museum. She has participated in underwater archaeology research and excavation projects since 2010. Öztosun is also a member of the ICOMOS Türkiye National Committee and the ICOMOS ICUCH (International Committee on Underwater Cultural Heritage). She is also a member of the CMAS (World Underwater Federation) Scientific Commission’s Cultural Heritage Committee.
