Climate change – Coastal and underwater cultural heritage at risk: Threats – Challenges – Solutions has been completed with support from AXA.
In preparation since the beginning of 2026, the book brings together contributions examining the risks that climate change poses to coastal and underwater cultural heritage. It considers the challenges of protecting this heritage and explores possible responses, contributing to the discussion about its place in climate action.
The book will shortly be available online through the ICOMOS website and will also be distributed at COP31, bringing these concerns to an international audience involved in climate policy and action.
